About My Clients

I work with individuals and partnerships navigating the complexities of sexual identity, ethical non-monogamy, military relationships, kink, and trauma. My clients often face challenges related to shame, stigma, and societal expectations. Whether you're exploring your desires, redefining your relationships, or seeking self-acceptance, I'm here to support you. Together, we'll create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can embrace your authentic self and build a fulfilling, sex-positive life.

My Background and Approach

I'm currently pursing my Master of Social Work through the University of Kentucky. As a provider at Be Known Therapy, I'm an intern specializing in sex therapy and am under the supervision of Julie Labanz, MA, LPCC-S, CST. My experiences includes working with those facing trauma, mental health concerns, addictions, sexual issues, relationship struggles, the impact of purity culture, and more. With lived experience as a military spouse raised in the South, I understand the intricacies of shame and the difficulties in navigating military relationships. My approach is eclectic and person-centered, integrating mindfulness, feminist, humanistic, and Gottman Method techniques. I'm committed to creating a nonjudgmental spaces where clients can explore their challenges and work toward healing and growth. My goal is to empower you to embrace your true self, foster healthy relationships, and navigate life's complexities with resilience and confidence.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in creating a world where everyone can live authentically and without fear of judgement. As an LGBTQ+ member and ally, I'm deeply committed to advocating for social justice, gender equality, and the dismantling of societal norms that perpetuate shame or marginalization. My practice is rooted in sex positivity and the belief that all people deserve to explore and express their identities and desires in a safe, supportive environment. I stand firmly for inclusivity, respect, and the right to self-determination, and I'm dedicated to supporting causes that uplift and empower marginalized communities.
