About My Clients
I have experience working with a plethora of clients but primarily work with members of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community. I tend to create uplifting spaces of bravery and empowerment with clients that are looking for support with gender identity and expression, sexuality, anxiety, depression, neurodivergent, life transitions, self-esteem, grief, chronic illnesses/conditions, trauma, queer fertility and lgbtq+ family building, boundaries, eating disorders, and polyam/kink.
My Background and Approach
As a first-generation, Queer, Non-Binary, Black and spiritual being, I see the healing space as a transformative space where folx can step in and tap in to those parts of yourself that can really help to facilitate the connection between mind, body, and heart. This means that my approach to the therapeutic space is rooted in anti-oppression to ensure that the space we cultivate is not only healing but also liberating. I use experiential interventions like role play, music, art and dramatic acting to help you discover who you are and find out how to express outwardly what you feel inside. I also incorporate somatic based interventions, CBT techniques, IFS, Narrative Therapy, and tend to incorporate humor into sessions as a form of healing.
