My Background and Approach
If your fears and anxiety are spiraling out of control, together we will explore the transformation that can happen even in the darkest times. I am here to support you. I help people who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, emotional turmoil, relationships, careers, & life transitions. I offer a warm, kind, curious space for you to speak freely, explore who you are and what you want. Your session will be tailored to you, but could include EMDR, art therapy, assessments, mindfulness & other modalities. Life is complicated & sometimes it is crucial to have someone assist you in that journey to get out of your head and have the clarity to see all that is possible for your future. Together, we can work on self-acceptance & self-compassion; identifying your values vs societal norms and expectations; Boundaries work and self-care; Improved communication.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have used therapy as a tool for growth throughout my life; from my adolescent years navigating grief and low self-esteem, to complex issues of adulthood. Counseling helped me to heal my heart after divorce and ultimately be open again to love later in life.
