About My Clients
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most crucial component for success in treatment. I am skilled at helping my clients feel connected, comfortable, and validated during sessions. Often clients have shared that they have struggled to connect with a therapist in the past, but find they are able to feel connected in our sessions. If you are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression or if you have experienced trauma in childhood or recently, I may be a good fit for you.
My Background and Approach
My treatment modalities are eclectic and will vary based on your needs. Successful treatment involves collaboration between the therapist and client, I will regularly check-in to insure your needs are being met. The modalities I most often practice include DBT, CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and EMDR.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy can be an intimidating process to start. Our first session will be a time where I can get to know you and learn what your hopes for treatment are. I will meet you at your level and work with you where you are at, there are no expectations or judgments.
