If so, reach out to me to schedule a 20 minute free consult. l offer mental health counseling and art therapy services to adults for individual therapy sessions and often see those who seek support with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and bereavement, and stress management during life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I primarily utilize art therapy in session alongside traditional talk therapy to explore what is coming up for a client. You do not need expensive art materials or any artistic skills to benefit from the creative process. If you can make a mark on paper, you are off to a good start! Art therapy is about engaging and processing one’s emotions and experiences in an accessible and unique way. I have found that offering art therapy through a telehealth platform has been very helpful for those who may not live in an area with easy access to an in-person art therapist. I will work collaboratively with you to achieve your goals and create space for you to explore your inner world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is my responsibility to constantly check my privileges and to educate myself how systemic racism, mircoaggressions, and social injustices are constantly perpetuated against BIPOC, multicultural individuals, and LGBTQAI+ folks. I am an ethnic white American who parents and extended family emigrated from Europe, and because of this upbringing, I am sensitive to hold space for others who also experienced first- and second- generational expectations from loved ones.
