About My Clients
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, youths and families and have experience working with a variety of clinical issues including ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, family and life transitions, parenting, school and work stressors, relationships, self-esteem, and trauma. I also hold a K-12 school counselor certification and can be an advocate and support for students, especially those with IEPs and 504s.
My Background and Approach
I approach treatment through an attachment-based, trauma-informed, psychodynamic lens and collaborative framework, recognizing that you are the expert of your life experience. In my work with children and adolescents, I also use a family systems approach. My role is to accompany you through insightful exploration in order to help increase self-awareness and self-compassion and bring about lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in equitable care for everyone. I respect who you are, how you identify, and how you express yourself. My job is to make sure you feel safe seeking care and to come alongside you to understand your needs, listen to you, and support you. If you are looking for a safe and affirming space to tend to your needs with compassionate care and are open and curious about your self, your experiences, and the world, we might be a good fit.
