Trying to navigate the complexities of life on your own can feel impossible. When trauma, depression, or anxiety are thrown into the mix, it seems like the dark side is the only option. And when you're in a relationship and life problems are causing issues, it can feel like the rabbit hole is never ending. But you don't have to try to find your happily ever after on your own. I have found that it's kind of fun to do the impossible and I can help you see the light.
My Background and Approach
My specialty is treating humans as humans instead of diagnoses. Not every diagnosis looks the same for every person and I try to recognize that. That's why your treatment is just that - YOURS. We work together to build your goals and your treatment. I base my treatment on who you are, not what you have.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all people are different and therefore have different needs. I believe any relationship can be saved as long as all partners are willing to put the work into it. I also believe that anyone can benefit from therapy. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression at a young age and had some pretty bad therapists at one point in my life so I make it my goal to do the best I can to care for my clients the way they need. I believe that everyone deserves to be who they feel they are and love who they want to love. That is why I try to bring openness to the therapy office to make it an inclusive experience without judgement. I may not fully understand everything, but I want to know your experiences so I can find the best way for you to heal and make changes in your life for the better. I believe everyone deserves a shining tomorrow and sometimes you just need someone on your side to help you find it.
