About My Clients
I’m here to support your desire for personal growth, healing, and self-discovery. I'm interested in working with common concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and trauma. I also have a special passion for working with those folks “outside the norm”. I’m LGBTQI+ friendly, neurodivergent affirming, SW positive, and supportive of non-traditional family structures (ethical non-monogamy, queer relationships, platonic life-partnerships, etc.).
My Background and Approach
At my practice, I offer a warm and inviting atmosphere where you can feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and feelings. I specialize in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. I use evidence-based therapies to help you gain insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change in your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Through years of experience being in the therapist’s chair AND the client’s chair (yes, therapists should go to therapy too!), I've come to understand there is simply nothing more powerful than having our messy/scary/shameful parts truly seen without judgment. I'm deeply thankful to the people who have held that space for me, and I’m grateful every time someone else gives me the opportunity to hold that space for them. I have considerable professional and lived experience in complex identities outside of our cultural norm. If we find ourselves exploring something I’m unfamiliar with, I’ll approach it with respectful curiosity and seek to educate myself outside of sessions.
