About My Clients
I know how hard it can be to face life's struggles alone. I'm here to walk with you on your journey, helping you explore new ways to approach challenges, cultivate self-compassion, and ultimately reclaim your life. My practice is rooted in empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to your well-being.
My Background and Approach
I take a biopsychosocial approach to therapy, which means I consider not only the psychological aspects of your experience but also the physical and social factors that contribute to your well-being. I draw from a variety of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices. Life can be overwhelming, and I truly understand how challenging it can be to juggle anxiety, chronic illness, stress, depression, and chronic pain. As a Clinical Psychologist, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate these struggles and rediscover a sense of meaning and balance in their lives. I have over 15 years of helping adults manage pain, anxiety and depression. I have extensive training in ACT, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches. I have over 12 years of experience of working with Veterans.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe in social justice and that everyone deserves the right to freedom. I strongly support LGBTQ+ communities, DEI initiatives, and basic human rights. I support women and our rights and freedoms. I believe in science. Life is hard in these United States right now, and I am with you in this.
