About My Clients
There are many reasons why we enter therapy. Sometimes we are in need of healing from immense hurt. Sometimes, we are at a crossroad in our lives where we know we need to change direction. That change often feels more doable when can do that work in a safe and affirming space. I work with clients to manage emotional dysregulation that comes from attachment traumas, depression and anxiety, eating disorders, toxic and ruptured relationships, as well as life transitions and self-esteem issues.
My Background and Approach
I was trained as an attachment based therapist and incorporate fundamental aspects of Emotion Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy into my practice. My treatment includes an appreciation for the ambivalence and struggles inherent in change, while also holding hope and implementing evidence based treatment interventions that facilitate change. I work from a trauma-informed perspective and provide EMDR intervention as appropriate, Finally, I prioritize sensitive and skilled interventions for neurodivergent individuals so that they are able to reduce masking and progress in treatment without the burden of accommodating to neurotypical expectations.

I approach therapy humbly; knowing that while the hard work of change is up to you, I am fully committed to bringing respect, hopefulness and the best of my knowledge to our work together.
