My Background and Approach
I have a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and am currently practicing as an LCDC and LPC. I also have a graduate certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis, so I’m well equipped with the tools necessary to help you empower yourself and provide a safe space for yourself. I was a caregiver for years, and know the pain that can come from experiencing emotional burnout. To help myself and others, I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in conjunction with techniques from art and poetry therapy. From this, I’ll help you process the past through these mediums and provide DBT coping skills that you can later use to fearlessly engage with life without fears taking a hold of you.
