About My Clients
My formal education, both undergraduate and graduate, has prepared me to work with adolescents, adults, families, groups, and couples. My counseling experience has prepared me to work with a wide array of presenting problems, including, but not limited to, adjustment issues, stress management, mood disorders, trauma & PTSD, uncomplicated bereavement/grief, women's issues, and cancer-related topics.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023 and have been working as a student counselor within the private and non-profit sectors since late 2022. As a counselor, I work with clients through an integrative, collaborative therapeutic lens and am responsible for personalizing my theoretical orientation, treatment plan, and interventions to a client's unique needs and presenting problems. I am dedicated to honoring client’s unique context, circumstances, and goals while fostering a collaborative, supportive, and therapeutic alliance with my clients. I am committed to creating a warm and welcoming counseling environment where clients feel comfortable examining their presenting issues and taking affirmative action toward bettering themselves and improving their quality of life.
