About My Clients
I collaboratively work with children, parents, and individuals who experience symptoms related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and heartache, in order to reach relief and feel more fulfilled within and in relationships. My clients are looking for self-soothing strategies (coping skills), insight, compassion, understanding/psychoeducation, direction, and hope during times of uncertainty and stress.
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about collaboratively helping others gain strategies for how to feel relief, cope with existential dread, manage conflict, navigate new relational roles and identities, and build resiliency during times of uncertainty and grief. My empathetic nature plays a role in my therapeutic style. I am trained in EMDR, art/play therapy (DIR model), parent coaching, and grief work filtered through an attachment-lens framework. I offer teachings about the power of self-acceptance and self-love, and put emphasis on the system we live in to help make sense of why we are the way we are. My approach to therapy is realistic and provides: (a) support and understanding, (b) honest and direct feedback about how to support regulation and resilience, (c) help in making transformative changes, and (d) ways to improve communication in your relationships. I am here to support you on your journey of personal growth and healing!
