About My Clients
In 5+ years as a therapist I have helped children, adults, and families find healing and understanding in desperate situations. Many people see therapy as a one-sided experience with little or not chance to interact with a real person. I promise you, I am as real as it gets! I want to help you crush your goals and find solutions for whatever challenges may be keeping you from feeling your best. I believe that therapy doesn’t always have to be a painful thing.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with kids, teens, families, and LBGTQ+ individuals however, I see a wide breadth of clients as a virtual therapist! Since becoming a therapist, I have had experience working with a diverse spectrum of clients and hope that you can be one of them. I earned my B.A. in psychology from Fresno Pacific University in Fresno, CA in 2016 and my M.A. in Counseling from Ball State University in Muncie, IN in 2018. I spent 6 wonderful years working with the Muncie, IN community and developed a passion for working with youth and families. In Summer 2022, my family moved back to California to be closer to home but I continue to provide telehealth therapy to Hoosiers in need of services.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Life is too short to be sad, hold grudges, let trauma control us, or be anxious/angry all the time. I want you to be free of emotional pain, able to deal with life on life's terms, and to find meaning/purpose in work, family, friendships, spirituality, and all other life areas. I believe we all possess the necessary tools and strength to make changes in our lives, but sometimes we may need a little help to achieve those goals and reach our highest potential. Let me be the person to walk with you as we achieve your goals of being a healthier and happier person. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for self exploration and empowerment. It is my passion to provide a safe and unapologetically supportive environment for everyone to explore and express themselves, regardless of gender or sexual identity.
