About My Clients
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, or past trauma? Are you feeling on edge, no longer enjoying things you used too, or just feeling down? Maybe you are experiencing a heightened sense of hypervigilance. Or, maybe you are just looking for someone to talk to while you try to juggle and balance all that life has thrown at you – we don’t have to wait for a significant event or something traumatic happening for us to seek out support and a listening ear.
My Background and Approach
Over the course of my career, I have worked in a variety of different settings. Therapy is not one size fits all. I am not a “by the book” type of therapist. My approach to therapy is using a variety of different treatment modalities and strategies, however I am a trauma-informed therapist. I aim to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for all my clients. I am warm, laidback but direct, and use humor to lighten the mood when talking about tough topics and processing difficult emotions. Therapy can be hard work but it is so rewarding. Together, we will collaborate on setting goals to address your current concerns and will work together to help you feel better, heal, and nurture your relationships.
