Accepting Clients

I have a Ph.D. in Clinical and Developmental Psychology, and extensive experience in multiple evidence-based treatments for kids and teens.

Clinical Psychologist in Michigan

About My Clients

For young children, I offer both therapy and diagnostic assessments to gain a deeper understanding of their symptoms, development, and relationships, and to guide treatment recommendations. Another of my clinical passions is therapy for kids and teens with anxiety and OCD, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention. I also offer parent consultation for those who have specific questions that may not require a full assessment or therapy.

My Background and Approach

I completed my Bachelor's in Psychology at Butler Unversity in Indianapolis, IN, and earned a joint Ph.D. in Clinical and Developmental Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. I went on to complete a clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center, with a specialization in Early Childhood. I then moved to Michigan for a postdoctoral fellowship in Developmental Science at the University of Michigan. I transitioned into a clinical faculty position in the Department of Psychiatry at Michigan Medicine, where I was an attending psychologist in the Infant and Early Childhood Clinic and the Anxiety and OCD Clinic. In this context, I provided clinical care, conducted research, and provided training to psychology, social work, and psychiatry trainees and professionals. I have published on topics related to parent-child relationships, maternal mental health, adoption from institutional care, and relationship-focused interventions in infancy and early childhood.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
