About My Clients
Do you feel frantic often? Do you have trouble sleeping? Do you have trouble getting out of bed or feeling motivated? Are you having trouble getting along with your significant other? Do you feel lost in your career? Have you lost yourself in your career? Do you have trouble experiencing feelings? Do you feel far too much all the time? One of these prompts probably feels familiar to most people seeking therapy. I pride myself in being able to help with most things.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with my bachelors and masters from The Ohio State University. Both of my degree placements were at Chalmers P. Wylie department of veterans affairs ambulatory care center. I've worked at an inpatient rehabilitation center for substance-use as a counselor. Since, I've moved to private practice and have now opened my own business. In terms of my personal history, I never planned on being a therapist. Before this career I was going to be a singer. I got quite good but my own mental health derailed my path. After making in progress in therapy I chose to study mental health to improve my mental health further. Now I am passionate about helping others avoid the pain I am familiar with.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a trauma-informed, compassion-focused provider. I have social justice values.
