About My Clients
It is my mission to provide excellent service and holistic care to our clients, while simultaneously fighting the stigma associated with mental illness. I provide online therapy and specialize in treating eating disorders and body image concerns, anxiety and stress, fear and panic attacks, depression, and relationship challenges.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). Throughout my training, I worked in several community mental health centers including Henderson Behavioral Heath, the Faulk Center for Counseling, and Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Memory and Wellness Center. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Renfrew Center of Coconut Creek, where I gained a great deal of experience working with eating disorders and with their accompanying anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, and substance use. I utilized the evidence-based Unified Treatment (UT)Model. I then completed my post-doctoral residency at Nova Southeastern University. My time was divided between the School-related Psychological Assessment and Clinical Intervention clinic and counseling center at NSU University School, a private college prep school. I am HAES informed and utilize a variety of person-centered and modern, evidence-based treatments such as The Unified Protocol, CBT, and ACT.
