About My Clients
I'm dedicated to working with queer and trans clients, neurodivergent clients, and clients impacted by racial capitalism and other forms of oppression. I bring a racial justice and disability justice lens to my therapy practice. I have experience supporting people in exploring their relationships with self and others and making sense of past trauma.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I aim to create a warm, attuned space where you can bring your full self, and get a better understanding of struggles you’re experiencing and patterns that are showing up in your life. Maybe there are ways you’ve been surviving for a long time that you want to let go of, while honoring how far they got you. Maybe there are dynamics in your relationships that you’re hoping to get help making sense of, or shifting. I hope that by listening carefully and showing up with genuine curiosity and compassion, I can support you in feeling a deeper sense of ease and stronger connection to self and others.I am collaborative, relational, and trauma informed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I come to this work from organizing work to end prisons, jails, and other forms of involuntary confinement and I bring an understanding of how racial capitalism is inherently traumatizing. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and I bring a deep respect for self-determination and a commitment to challenging white supremacy, transphobia, ableism and other forms of oppression to all of my work.
