About My Clients
Molly works with adult and adolescent clients, their families and significant others who are going through a wide range of difficulties including addiction, grief/loss, eating disorders, negative body image, relationship problems and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
Molly received her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana University and her masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University. Beginning therapy can be overwhelming and Molly aims to make the process feel authentic and comfortable. She uses a strengths-based, positive approach and leans on Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and other modalities to support clients in deeper exploration. She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness to help create more concrete, immediate changes when necessary. Molly is fat-positive and uses a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach, is welcoming to all gender and sexual identities, races, religions, and cultural backgrounds and is an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Molly is passionate about meeting clients where they are at and helping them to foster positive change, believing that clients are the experts of their own lives. She is here to listen and guide clients in a non-judgmental, conversational and affirming way.
