About My Clients

Feeling stuck in your marriage? Struggling to function as a family? Not sure what the future may hold for your dating relationships? Wishing to repair your friendship? I have a passion for helping relationships heal and have been honored to walk with many families, couples, and individuals on their journey to do so. I offer a human-to-human approach to therapy that is systems-focused, personalized, and works to honor the complexities of the individuals I meet with.

My Background and Approach

I work to provide a therapeutic experience that feels welcoming, authentic, client-centered, and empowering. I practice Collaborative Therapy with my clients, a human-to-human approach that focuses on the strengths, knowledge, and resources clients have available to them despite their struggles. I feel honored to walk alongside clients in vulnerable spaces offering my own personal and professional experience as a part of the process. My primary training is in Systems Therapy. I focus on the unique systems my clients are a part of (their family systems, cultural systems, societal systems, internal systems) as contributing factors to their struggles and the solutions to their problems. With individuals hoping to heal from trauma I use an Internal Family Systems(IFS) informed approach. I have experience working with families, couples, and individuals in a therapeutic setting and have a passion for helping people thrive in the context of their relationships!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we are all doing the best we can do with the knowledge, resources, and support we have available to us. I heavily value getting to know the systems we are uniquely a part of and believe they have a huge impact on the way we view ourselves, our roles in relationships, and our place in larger society. I value care that is culturally competent, LGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-colonial, and non-pathological and work hard to be a part of changing the healthcare system I am a part of for the better. These values carry through in my life outside of therapy as well! I strive to be an active community member, advocate, and ally for vulnerable and oppressed peoples in my community. :)
