About My Clients

Does your mind ever hold you back from the type of person you want to be in the world? The stories we tell ourselves often impact the ways we choose to live our lives, but they don't have to. If you find yourself feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or not as present in life as you'd like to be, I would love to work with you! I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are looking for support in navigating the experience of anxiety, depression, burnout, and stress.

My Background and Approach

Before starting my private practice, I earned almost 10 years of experience working with teens and their families in the juvenile justice and school systems as a therapist and school social worker. Now, in my private practice, I work with teens, young adults, and adults who are looking for support in navigating the experience of anxiety, burnout, depression, and stress. I take a compassionate, warm, and strength-focused approach with my clients, where you are the expert on your experience. I enjoy integrating mindfulness, behavioral, values-centered, and solution-focused approaches into my work with people of all ages. The best part of my work as a mental health provider is getting to know my clients to build strong and supportive therapeutic relationships, and being a witness to each of my client's life journeys. If you are looking for support in being present, opening up, and doing what matters, feel free to reach out to me. I look forward to getting to know you soon!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

In my own life journey, I've utilized the values of compassion, humor, courage, and alignment as my compass for guiding my choices and behavior as a therapist and as a human. I have a deep passion for supporting teens and young adults in building skills for advocacy and empowerment, especially in the environments of school and home. In my practice, I like working with care-providing adults (think educators, medical providers, caregivers/parents) in building skills for burnout prevention. Within my career, I’ve experienced burnout, compassion fatigue, and anxiety, and understand the impact all have on leading a deep and meaningful life. With my own therapist, I was able to create a more values-aligned path for my life, and I want to help others do the same. I believe that all people, both young and old, have deep capacities to be resilient through life’s struggles, and I’d like to guide you through your own experience to find a more accepting, present, and self-compassionate you.
