About My Clients
I help women embrace their authentic self and process the shit that’s been weighing them down. When we work together, we’ll create a space where you can get all those “ugly” feelings out without being judged, invalidated, or told to just “let it go.” I won’t tell you to make a self-care plan and send you on your way. I won’t label you or marginalize you. Instead, together on, we’ll unravel & release the webs of fear, self-doubt, and overwhelm you secretly carry with you.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, holistic, and relational in nature. I value honesty and authenticity, and I believe that through the journey of getting to know yourself— your TRUE SELF— you can find peace. Your potential is limitless, and I know you have what it takes within you to meet your goals and live a meaningful life. I practice relational therapy because I believe the foundation of successful therapeutic work is a relationship between client and therapist built on warmth, empathy, & trust— a relationship where we are both continually growing and learning from one another. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio and am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. Additionally, I am a certified yoga teacher. I have been trained and mentored by Michele Cempaka of Spirit Weaver Journeys in a variety Shamanic Healing Techniques. I utilize these modalities as requested.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Maybe you just need a safe space to take off the mask- you know what I mean- that mask that you have to wear for the rest of the world. So people don’t think you’re “too much.” So men aren’t intimidated. So you don’t appear weak. This is what I am offering: a place for you to unmask and be your bad ass, messy self. No filter. No fluff. Just you being unapologetically YOU. I am not afraid to meet you in the trenches and take off my mask too. My only goal in our sessions is help you BECOME WHOLE- to fully integrate all of the parts of you so you can be free.
