My Background and Approach
I base my treatment approach on person-centered therapy, valuing the client-therapist relationship as a team. I establish collaborative bonds, recognizing strengths and goals. My commitment to high standards of care emphasizes a client-centered, culturally inclusive, and strength-based method for enhanced well-being, happiness, recovery, and health. As an Indian-born Asian woman, I empathize with diverse cultural challenges. Being culturally sensitive, I respect variations in attitudes, aiming to comprehend backgrounds and beliefs tied to race, gender, ethnicity, religion, and more. This deep understanding helps my clients feel truly heard. I integrate evidence-based models like psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and humanistic therapies based on individual needs.
