About My Clients
My patients often feel overwhelmed, anxious, and unsafe after experiencing traumatic events. They may struggle with intrusive memories, emotional numbness, difficulty focusing, or physical symptoms like chronic pain. Seeking healing and stability, they aim to regain control and resilience. Using a depth-psychological and psychodynamic approach, I help uncover unconscious roots of their distress, guiding them toward emotional healing and restoring their sense of safety and strength.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Palōmi Sheth, MD, MA, PhDc received her Masters in Clinical Depth Psychology from Pacifica University and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree. With original training as an MD, Palōmi focuses on the body-mind-psyche connection in working with her patients. She believes firmly in the intersubjective therapeutic relationship as a powerful place for significant growth, change and meaning. Through a consistent psychodynamic approach, Palōmi’s work affirms significant cultivation of self-awareness, new behavioral patterns, and meeting personal blocks/limitations with a capacity to implore and shift one’s relationship to self, others and their life. Through the lens of working with the unconscious, Palōmi strives towards illuminating the drivers and motivations for the ways one behaves, lives and relates with other. Palōmi is under supervision with Dr. Amanda Lomanov, PSY 31901.
