About My Clients

Every day is a battle between who you are and who the world expects you to be. The weight of others’ opinions lingers, twisting into self-doubt. Even in safe spaces, the fear of being too much or not enough creeps in. Therapy offers a place to untangle these thoughts, challenge self-criticism, and reconnect with your true self. Some days it’s about breaking down self-doubt; other days, it’s about self-acceptance. Change happens at your pace—you don’t have to do this alone.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Resident in Counseling with a background in mental health across various settings. I’ve worked as a residential instructor at a psychiatric facility for children and teens, as a case manager supporting youth facing mental health crises, CPS involvement, and homelessness, and in permanent supportive housing for adults with severe mental health challenges. I hold an AAS in Social Sciences, a BS in Psychology, and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My approach is client-centered, prioritizing validation and reflection while integrating mindfulness, CBT/DBT, and psychoeducation as needed. I understand the weight of self-doubt, fear of judgment, and societal pressures, and I strive to create a safe, affirming space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, challenge self-criticism, and reconnect with your true needs and values—at a pace that feels right for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a queer, female therapist, I’m passionate about creating an affirming space for LGBTQ+ individuals, women, and parents navigating identity, self-worth, and life transitions. I believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued without fear of judgment. I support causes related to mental health access, LGBTQ+ rights, and housing stability. Outside of therapy, I love reading YA fiction and romance, rewatching my favorite comfort shows, and spending time with my partner, son, and three cats. I believe in meeting people where they are, honoring their lived experiences, and helping them reconnect with their own voices. My goal is to help you embrace your full, authentic self and find confidence in who you are.
