Maybe you're afraid of the stigma surrounding mental health and even looking for a therapist has been a big hurdle? I believe that within every person is the power to change. But change IS hard, and sometimes we need someone who can meet us where we are and help us navigate through life's challenges. That's where I can help.
My Background and Approach
Rachael Krotec is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, holding a B.A. in English & Psychology from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of West Florida. She is a native Floridian who loves the outdoors and enjoys reading and writing in her spare time. Rachael has experience working with a wide range of diagnoses, including but not limited to substance use disorders, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, and borderline personality disorder. She combines Cognitive Behavioral and Emotion-Focused therapy to assist clients in navigating their current challenges. Rachael is passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and seeks to help individuals achieve emotional well-being and personal growth. She provides individual, couple, and group therapy for adults.
