About My Clients
I welcome clients of all gender identities and expressions, as well as queer and straight couples in all relationship structures. I also work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, struggles related to ADHD, trauma, and body image issues. I am specifically trained in working with the LGBTQ+ population on topics related to sexuality and gender. I also have extensive experience working with nonmonogamous couples.
My Background and Approach
I take a relational, optimistic, and trauma-informed stance. My work is to help people use their differences as a means of self-growth and self-transcendence. In doing this, a relationship moves from a place of rigidity into new possibilities.I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Barnard College, Columbia University, before receiving my Master’s Degree from Silberman School of Social Work, Hunter College. I have trained in sex and relationship therapy with top clinicians in the field including Ian Kerner and Suzanne Iasenza. I am heavily influenced by Esther Perel’s work on eroticism and Ellyn Bader & Peter Pearson’s Developmental Couple’s Model.
