About My Clients
I have experience working with a variety of mental health concerns, including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and identity exploration. I am a firm believer in people’s capacity to heal and grow, and I aim to provide a safe, affirming, and empowering space for that healing and growth to happen.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University in in 2021. I have worked in eating disorder treatment centers at the inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, IOP, and outpatient levels of care, with specialized training in the treatment of severe and enduring eating disorders. In addition to my clinical training in eating disorders, I completed a two-year fellowship program during my graduate degree that aims to improve culturally competent care for Jewish-identifying clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I approach my work from a Health at Every Size (HAES), anti-diet, and social justice-oriented lens. I often incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Positive Psychology during sessions. In addition, I am a firm believer that humor and playfulness can play an immense role in a person’s healing. My clients are, and always will be, the experts on their own lives. I aim to empower them to set and achieve goals that will improve their overall wellbeing, while consistently supporting my clients and offering them tools to build the lives that they want to lead.
