About My Clients

My clients vary widely, but they all have one thing in common: they are ready to work. Some want to tackle a problematic area in their lives, and some want to develop a relationship that they can rely on for comfort and challenge. Those that appreciate my authenticity and loving, direct approach, stay for a while! My clients are looking for someone who is going to show up and be just as engaged in the work as they are.

My Background and Approach

I believe that therapy is a relationship, a chance to open up long-closed boxes and explore meaning in a safe place with a caring person who brings themselves into the work. In that space, we can cultivate growth and change. My life and my most intimate relationships in young adulthood were transformed through work with my own therapist. It gave me hope for the future that I had never felt before. I wanted to follow a path where I could multiply and share that experience. I graduated with my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. I am a lifetime Philadelphia resident, invested in my community. I work with individuals, partners, and families of all shapes and sizes. I have experience with international clients, clients with disabilities, neurodiverse clients, and BIPOC. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming. I integrate trauma-informed practices into my client relationships. I welcome all clients, but have special interest in parenting and the family.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
