About My Clients
I love to work with each unique human that sits in front of me, no matter where you come from or where you want to go. I am particularly passionate about working with LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent individuals, and religious trauma survivors.
My Background and Approach
I have an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and work from a humanistic, person-centered foundation. I enjoy supporting clients through somatic approaches, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and other trauma-sensitive modalities. Our work will start wherever you need it to begin. We'll collaborate on tailoring a plan that best meets your needs, whether it's creating more space for empathy, sharing practical techniques, or other unique intentions you have for yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am honored and humbled to hold space for you on your journey to recovery and healing. Before becoming a clinician, I earned a degree in social work and spent time in supportive social service roles, aiding a wide array of folks from young children and families in crisis, adolescents leaving foster care, and in-home care with elder adults. Because of this background, my approach to therapy exists in a social justice framework that understands the many layers that both impact and create barriers to mental wellbeing.
