My Background and Approach
We will start where you feel comfortable, working on goals established by you at your own pace. My approach is warm, respectful, accepting, compassionate, curious, and strengths-based. I show up authentically with genuine interest and welcome you to do the same in the context of a safe therapeutic space. My baseline assumption is that you are of value as a human and innately amazing. I understand that complex internal and external systems contribute to our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. In collaboration with you, I will help bring awareness and understanding to the influences that comprise who you are, in turn, leading to change, growth, and healing.
