Clients who are seeking self-awareness and are open to exploring ways of building more fulfillment into their lives seem to work best with me. Showing up for therapy with willingness, even when it's uncomfortable or a new part of your journey can be life changing. I strive to provide a space for my clients to be able to talk about any topic that comes to mind.
My Background and Approach
The tools that I'll provide you with are tools that I have been collecting over the course of my counseling career. My goal for you is to have tools and techniques that you can carry with you at all times. So no matter where you go, you'll always have access to ways of providing yourself relief. I am direct and solution focused. We'll work collaboratively to address the obstacles that are preventing you from reaching your intended goals. My practice is focused on supporting people in lessening their struggle while accepting that struggle is a normal part of life. I utilize CBT, DBT, Acceptance & Commitment, and various forms of meditation in my practice and will discuss with you, ways that you can create your own therapeutic healing.
Why I Became a Therapist
It is a priority to me that therapy is accessible to those who truly want positive change. I have built my practice on the commitment to support those who are open to change that can sometimes be challenging. Talk therapy with me provides the opportunity to observe the issues that are blocking us from the contentment that we are seeking. I believe that all people deserve a safe, welcoming therapeutic space where they can explore any topic without judgment.
