There are times when you may feel the push and pull of everyday life. These issues may be personal and professional and you may be unable to fully show up to deal with these challenges. People choose therapy for a variety of reasons. Whether it is trauma, anxiety, anger, relationships or weight loss. It’s overwhelming at best and have created barriers to living your best life. Therapy can help you uncover things that keep you stuck and help you gain insight into yourself.
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about helping women and young ladies grow and nurture their goals. I want to help those who want to start healing from trauma, alleviate anxiety, stop negative self-talk and get their minds right. I am former military who has always had an empathetic and compassionate approach to leadership and I have continued to use this practice when working as a drug and alcohol counselor, and school-based counseling services. Working in those two fields I found the need to work with women in private practice to help them gain the tools they need to recover, heal, parent, and to live their best life. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. I provide an environment where you can share, process, and learn that is judgement free. Take this time to begin to heal, rebuild relationships, establish healthy boundaries, and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
After working as a drug and alcohol counselor and a school-based therapist I felt that working with teens and adult women will help impact their social emotional health as well as physical health. Focusing on the holistic nature of women builds self-esteem, heals trauma, alleviates health risks and overall better quality of life.
