My Background and Approach
I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nevada Reno and Master’s Degree from Walden University. I am trained in DBT & EMDR. I take a unique and untailored approach with each individual focusing on how your emotional health and behavioral patterns feed off of one another for an all encompassing style. I love to laugh with my clients, I take a personal lighthearted approach and take pride in being transparent and straightforward. Our sessions are a safe place where judgement doesn’t exist and humor is invited. I want my clients to feel unfiltered and to be able to have a place where they can release pent up emotional energy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I genuinely believe that “Our failures in life are the key to success but that complacency is the key to failure,” because each time we fail at something it just means that we have learned one more way that something doesn’t work. However, it is when we fear failure and accept being complacent as acceptable that it is a slippery slope to finding ourselves somewhere we would rather not be. I believe that that as a species humans are designed to evolve and grow emotionally and mentally, that we are capable of continuous adaptation to an ever changing environment- so long as there is the desire to learn and grow interpersonally, the journey to self actualization is always feasible.
