No one ever said it (life, relationships, career, school) would be easy, but should it be this hard?

Psychologist in California

About My Clients

My ideal clients are individuals who are grappling with issues related to racial, gender, or minority health. This includes individuals from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, those navigating the complexities of gender identity, and those who identify as part of a minority group. My practice is an inclusive and welcoming space. It's my goal to ensure you see yourself reflected and understood in the therapeutic process.

My Background and Approach

I earned my PhD from Northeastern University, an APA accredited doctoral program in Boston, Massachusetts, completed a nationally accredited doctoral internship at UCLA and a health psychology postdoctoral fellowship at the University of San Francisco in California. I have advanced training in psychological assessments, group therapy and the treatment of alcohol and other substance use. I have worked in some of the nation’s top institutions including the University of California San Francisco, Franciscan Hospital for Children, and Boston Children’s Hospital at Martha Eliot, both teaching affiliates of Harvard Medical School. In therapy, my approach is to hone in on our connection. The connection will determine our success in treatment. I use an integrative style of therapy weaving humor and strength- based perspectives. I specialize in relational issues, life transitions, racial, gender and sexual minority mental health, and the cross between physical health and mental well-being.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
