I specialize in working with individuals and couples through life adjustments, job changes and finding meaning in your day to day. I'm happy to help you reach your goals in managing your mental health and your life! You can expect to feel empowered and encouraged after our sessions with tools to manage the things that come up in life with more ease. I work with clients located in Washington DC, Virginia, as well as Georgia.
My Background and Approach
I am eclectic with my therapy approach and start with where you are at and what best suits you! I often work with clients dealing with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, or people coping with change. I’m body positive and LGBTQ+ friendly. I prioritize getting to know what works best for you and your goals and addressing any concerns you may have. I know therapy can feel like an intimidating or daunting place and I hope after our first session, you feel more at ease.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a strong ally for the LGBTQ community and am rooted in a body neutral/ positive space with firm beliefs in HAES (health at every size). I am a neurospicy late diagnosed ADHD human that loves working with others that have found their neurospicyness may impact their day to day. I'm a dog mom and chicken and gecko owner and love tattoos:) I believe everyone has the right to finding the right individual or relationship therapist that will meet their needs. I also have worked a lot in the field of child welfare with the foster care/ adoption/ birth family triad dynamic and will continue to advocate for change in such a difficult system.
