About My Clients
Perhaps you struggle to balance multiple life roles, have difficulty practicing self-compassion, or find that stress and anxiety leave you feeling depleted. Maybe you feel isolated and are looking to form new relationships with others, or are looking for a way to safely explore a variety of difficult emotions.
My Background and Approach
I offer a collaborative, caring, creative approach, and invite clients to become curious about themselves and their experiences; I am here to support you as you explore new ways of becoming ‘unstuck.’ As a drama therapist, I incorporate art, movement, improvisation, and role-play into the process, to help foster self-expression and to give you the opportunity to explore difficult emotions in a safe environment. Drama has helped me in my own journey of self-discovery and I truly believe in the empowering nature of storytelling and play. Drama therapy is an active, experiential, and embodied practice. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to your needs; also drawing from Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You are not alone! You deserve to be seen, to live a full and meaningful life. Therapy can help equip you with the tools to feel empowered and to take on life’s challenges. I believe everyone has their own unique story to tell and I invite you to reach out if you’re ready to take a step towards discovering your own potential. I am an LCPC with a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from North Park University, as well as a Certified Yoga Teacher. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and difficult life transitions. I am a drama therapist currently working towards credentialing. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to your needs; also drawing from Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness.
