About My Clients

Do feelings of overwhelm, stress or unworthiness have you at an impasse? Struggling with the impacts of trauma, abuse or grief? Working through issues around racial identity, sexual orientation, or internalized oppression? Dealing with depression or anxiety? Do you have difficulty establishing healthy boundaries and making yourself the main character of your life? If any of this resonates with you, let's talk!

My Background and Approach

Therapy is a process of awareness, acknowledgment and acceptance. We cannot change the past, but we can cultivate the level of self-awareness that allows us to stay with what’s present and consciously shape our future. As we work together to reconcile wounds, and heal what is holding you back, we will also hold space for your “wins”, no matter how big or how small. I hold decolonized, liberatory perspectives in my work with clients that affirms strengths-based cultural humility and promotes social, systemic and structural change as mechanisms for mental health and well-being. I work somatically to tap into the body's wisdom about what we have experienced, who we are and who we are becoming, and to gain deeper insight into the ways in which experiences of trauma, abuse, overwhelm and stress are informing how we move through our lives. I use a client centered, trauma-informed approach that looks at relational and communication patterns. I also incorporate reiki into my work.
