About My Clients
I am passionate about walking alongside neurodivergent and gifted LGBTQIA+ adults and couples working through understanding their identity and relationships. I have worked with various groups, including neurodivergent children, adults, couples, and families.
My Background and Approach
I received my dual master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Social Psychology from Ball State University and obtained my license as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina in 2021 and my license as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in 2024 (License #16565). I have 3.5 years of counseling experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I enjoy working with neurodivergent, queer couples and adults. I help neurodivergent and gifted folx find sensory coping skills and adaptations that work for them. I also bring in tools from Family Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Neurodivergent Affirming Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as queer, nonbinary, and a gifted AuDHDer (autistic and ADHD). I understand firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate life as a neurodivergent/gifted, queer individual. I believe it is not only powerful and healing, but also essential to have a therapeutic relationship with someone who understands the experience of feeling marginalized or “different” while navigating the world.
