We work with clients who hold multifaceted and complex identities. We honor and respect these differences as the fabric of human connection and value each person as the expert in their own lives. We strive to create environments where our clients can pursue greater knowledge of themselves and feel honored to bare witness to their growth and transformation.
My Background and Approach
We ground ourselves in a foundation of mutual trust and the desire to transcend old systems with inherent power inequities. We identify as a coalition because we seek action, both personally and politically. At the Liberation Coalition, we believe that mental health is inherently political. We put our efforts towards disrupting systems of oppression both individually and systemically. The Liberation Coalition is committed to this in our healing practices which are informed by antiracist, anticapitalist, and queer affirming frameworks. This approach allows us to focus on expansion, transformation, and acceptance within our communities.
