About My Clients
I love working with folks from my community who are on the journey of authenticity, healing, and exploration. We've all had moments or times in our lives when we feel stuck, overwhelmed, confused, or are confronting histories of trauma. It takes bravery to come to therapy and to seek a place of safe exploration for whatever you might be yearning to shift. I specialize in working with trans, nonbinary, queer, and other folks across a range of gender and sexual identities.
My Background and Approach
I work relationally and collaboratively with clients to create a safe therapeutic space which allows for client-led and supportive change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in challenging and questioning systems of oppression, working through shame with empathy and kindness, harm-reduction strategies. I support BLM, trans folk of all the beautiful varieties, and that sex work is valid work. I hold a sex positive and kink friendly perspective regarding sexuality, and that it's never too late to explore aspects of ourselves. My cultural background is Jewish; I hold an anti-zionist perspective and support the liberation of the people of Palestine. I believe spirituality and religion can be both resourcing as well as traumatizing, and have experience working with clients who have experienced both polarities.
