About My Clients
My clinical work is rooted in helping clients finding meaningful and authentic connection to themselves and others. I work with adult individuals and couples from a practical, here-and-now perspective while attending to the impact of relational, cultural, and early childhood experiences. I am a queer and kink affirming therapist and work with individuals who practice non-monogamy.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and draws on psychodynamic, sensorimotor, and mindfulness based modalities. Areas of clinical focus include trauma, sex therapy, depression, grief & loss, infertility, navigating peri-menopause and menopause, and body acceptance. I am an AASECT certified Sex Therapist and Sex Therapy Supervisor who works with clients on intimacy and relationship concerns. Sex therapy may include: navigating desire and arousal, exploring identity and expression, incorporating a responsive, pleasure-based approach to intimacy, resolving sexual discomfort and pain, overcoming messages of sexual shame, and reclaiming intimacy and pleasure after trauma. I am Level 1 Basic Trained in Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR.
