About My Clients
Are you navigating the complexities of identity and seeking a safe space to explore? Do you ever feel unseen or misunderstood? Anxious and nervous when stepping into a social setting? It can be difficult in a world that often marginalizes and overlooks the experiences of LGBTQ+ and BIPOC. You are not alone and I am here to help. I honor the unique challenges you face and strive to create a safe, validating space for your journey towards healing and empowerment.
My Background and Approach
I employ a person-centered approach focused on fostering a genuine connection and honoring your unique journey towards growth and discovery. My queer identity and Mexican heritage provide me with a deep understanding of marginalized communities, including the LGBTQ+ community and communities of color. I have had the privilege of supporting many people as they navigate challenges related to collective minority trauma and spiritual distress. As a parent myself, I also enjoy working with new parents as they navigate the beautiful chaos of parenthood and expecting parents as they prepare for the journey ahead. I also specialize in working with highly sensitive teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem. Whether you are seeking guidance through personal struggles or seeking to enhance your overall well-being, I’m here to support you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every individual is a complex and beautiful tapestry of experiences, identities, and emotions. Just like a mosaic, each part of you is important and contributes to the unique masterpiece that is you. In therapy, I honor and celebrate this diversity, recognizing that every aspect of your being deserves attention and validation. As an intuitive empath and highly sensitive person myself, I possess the capacity to sense and perceive, strengthening my ability to connect with and empathize with others. It’s this innate gift that guides my specialization in working with highly sensitive people, empowering them to hone in on their own innate gift and assisting them with using it as guidance toward healing and growth.
