About My Clients
Everyone is on a different path and having a counselor who is willing to understand you and your path can make all the difference. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I'm passionate about working with folks who need someone to get them. I work with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and meet my clients where they are.
My Background and Approach
By working alongside clients and viewing them holistically, I believe it is possible to help them enact real change and personal growth. I will work with you to discover how your experiences, beliefs, and identities shape who you are and the issues holding you back. I'm not here to tell you what is right or wrong but instead, work with you to help you find out what is best for you. I am a Masters level student working under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm believer that therapists are responsible for doing their own work outside of therapy. I am passionate about social and racial justice, decolonization, and anti-capitalism. I believe that Black Lives Matter. I believe in queer and fat liberation.
