About My Clients
I am a mindfulness-based, somatic-oriented, IFS-informed, tapping therapist. What the heck kind of woo woo is that? Basically, I help you become more present and in touch with what you’re thinking, feeling and experiencing in the moment, explore where the negative bits comes from, and help you discover your natural ability let go of those negative bits. That’s it. It really is possible to heal and move on from stuff, and even to like yourself more. Come, give it a try.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. My therapeutic approach includes evidence-based techniques drawn from Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has innate value and worth and the ability to tap into their own inner healing wisdom. I love music (both listening to and creating it), exploring the inner world, and all things outdoors (hiking, sunshine, mountains).
