I enjoy working with clients who want to find new ways to navigate life’s challenges as well as their mental health symptoms. They may be struggling with symptoms of depression and/or anxiety, trauma processing and triggers, interpersonal relationships, or addiction behaviors such as excessive spending, eating, or holding on to items that are affecting their well-being. Clients may want to identify patterns that are holding them back from the life they want.
Walking through life in an increasingly challenging world can leave us feeling out of touch with ourselves, bending to who we think we “should” be, and unsure of who we want to be. I work with my clients to help them embrace their natural curiosity, explore the patterns/behaviors that feel incongruous with their values, challenge the negative self-talk that holds them back, and help them to engage more fully in the joy that life can hold.
I enjoy working with teen and adult clients who struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, addiction, eating disorders, parenting challenges, conflict resolution, boundaries and self-esteem issues. I believe with non-judgmental emphatic listening and the trust within therapeutic relationship, people have the inherent motivation to improve themselves and change their unhealthy behaviors, thoughts.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Clients often come to me wanting support in managing the overwhelm in their lives. We live in such a fast-paced, over-stimulating and often judgmental world, and I provide a safe haven for clients to explore who they truly are. This enables them to make day to day choices that help them show up as themselves in their lives, and take control of their futures. I especially work well with clients with anxiety disorders, borderline personality and depression.
Taking the first step towards your journey of healing can be a difficult decision to make. Opening the path to what has brought us deep suffering can be scary and at the same time, exactly what we need in order to begin to build a life grounded on what is important to us. It is easy to lose sight of of these things when we spend our time trying our hardest to get rid of or avoid our pain. My hope is that I am able to guide you on this journey to find a clearer path.
An ideal client of mine would be motivated and ready to do the meaningful, rewarding work of self-reflection and growth. Beyond that I find myself drawn to working with professionals from all walks of life, including fellow veterans, women, and LGBTQ+ community members. I also enjoy working with families navigating the complexities of having children on the wide spectrum of neurodiversity, including ADHD, ASD, PDA, and ODD

I work with adults, 18+! Most of my clients are interested in somatic work, hypnosis, breathwork, parts-work, or Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I enjoy helping individuals move from just merely surviving, to thriving! Common issues I work with include anxiety, self-esteem and self-doubt, trauma, depression, inner-conflict, sleep issues, finding purpose or meaning in life, & infertility struggles.
I believe in Dr. Stephen Shore’s quote, “If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism.” If you are looking for growth or emotional healing and have an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis (ASD), or share attributes with ASD, I would love to help! I practice mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy, ages 11 to 111. You can meet with me outdoors via walk and talk/outdoor seated therapy, or by traditional telehealth/in-office therapy.
My clients are often either grieving, caring for a parent or spouse, or experiencing their own chronic or terminal illness. Many of my clients are adult children caring for an aging parent. Oftentimes I help families have hard conversations about end-of-life decisions and potential moves into residential long-term care. It's true, there is always something more pleasant to talk about. And these conversations need to happen, too.
I work with clients who live with intense emotions. Deep depression, constant anxiety, intense anger, or on the other end—clients who tend to avoid feeling all together. Emotions often drive my client's choices—how they choose to behave or speak (or bow out of engaging/speaking) depends on how they are feeling. This way of living can feel chaotic and damage relationships. My clients become aware of their thoughts and emotions without being ruled by them.
I work with individuals and couples on various issues/concerns including daily stressors, life transitions, anxiety, depression, communication/boundaries, grief/loss, pregnancy loss or infertility concerns, and attachment and relationship concerns. I will help you nurture your relationship with yourself and with others. If you are grieving a loss, we will process and heal that together. You are not alone!

Life can be chaotic and make us feel unsure about ourselves and lonely and disconnected in our valued relationships. I specialize in working with people who need space to process life's challenges and who want to improve connection in their most valued relationships.
