Grief and loss are a part of the human condition. Grief is typically considered to be brought on by the death of a loved one, but can also be triggered by any significant life-altering loss (such as a divorce or the loss of a job). Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy to deal with. Symptoms of grief may include sadness, loneliness, anger, denial, depression and a myriad of other thoughts and feelings. There is no “normal” amount of time for grief to pass, but if you find that your grief is not improving over time or that it is interfering with your everyday life, you may want to consider seeking professional help. A qualified grief counselor can help you to cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses to loss. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s grief experts today.

I tend to be the person colleagues send folks with identities they see as "complex." I am one of those "complex" folks, so to me, gender creative, neuro-creative clients, with various relationship structures, histories, and sexual needs and interests don't feel complex at all. They feel like my people. Let's get to the work of discovering your deepest self, healing wounds and traumas, and helping you thrive and meet your goals, not those of society or mainstream culture.

From the time of the intake, I will work with you to figure out how to navigate your way back to feeling more centered and to a place where you can become a better version of yourself (or any version that you envision!). I believe in using a collaborative, compassionate, and empathetic approach to meet my clients where they are. If you are thinking about starting therapy, I would be honored to assist you with identifying the strengths and tools that lie within you.

My clients are the experts of their own experience, and my goal is to ensure that every client feels seen, heard, and valued in our therapeutic journey. My therapeutic framework is rooted in anti-racist, LGBTQAI-affirming, sex work-honoring values. I am committed to inclusivity, growth, and healing in a compassionate and non-judgmental space. My ideal client is someone who trusts enough in me and in the process to be honest with me about what they need while also being willing to learn together.

I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, oppression, life transitions, identity and relationship challenges. My approach is rooted in cultural humility, social justice, and truly seeing you beyond a diagnosis. I’ve supported folks in hospitals, housing programs, and ACT team. I strive to create a space where those who’ve felt out of place can finally feel they belong.
