This can include eating disorders, substance abuse, self-harm, and more. DBT is a skills-based approach that focuses on helping people increase their emotional and cognitive control by learning the triggers that lead to unwanted behaviors. Once triggers are identified, DBT teaches coping skills that include mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I specialize in premarital, marital, and relationship counseling in all stages of life. I work with client's battling with their mental health, family concerns, stress, relationships, self-esteem and those experiencing a life transition. I have experience working in crisis situations, as well as, inpatient and outpatient facilities. I work with adults (18+) and I am willing to provide a free consultation prior to the initial visit.

I also work with non-athletes teens and adults who are seeking peace in their relationships with food and their body, as we all deserve to have! I often say, "Nothing is too big, too small, or too weird to talk about in session".
