About My Clients
If you're queer, neurodivergent, or feel like the world wasn't built for you, I see you, and I believe you. Your story is important, and I’m here to listen. I honor the unique rhythms of your mind and know that what makes us different is often our most amazing source of strength.
My Background and Approach
Many of the systems we are embedded in don't know how to make space for all of who we are. Whether that be failing to accommodate neurodiversity, alienating us from our culture, dampening our gender expression, or any other ways of suppressing our true selves. For this reason I operate from a strengths-based approach. Your uniqueness is a gift to the world. If you have been told or forced to tone parts of yourself down, I welcome you to give those parts a voice. There is space for you here. In addition to celebrating your strengths, I also have experience integrating Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Creative/Expressive Interventions. If you are an artist or creative I welcome to bring that side of you into our work together! I provide support for identity exploration, life transitions, relationship difficulties (including navigating polyamory), mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma, grief, and loss.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer, neurodivergent, gender fluid therapist, I honor the unique strengths of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also strongly believe in the healing power of creativity. Outside of the therapeutic space, I write poetry, lyrics, and play the bass guitar. I have witnessed the immense transformative power in each of these creative pursuits. I would be honored to learn what creativity means to you, as it often shows up in unique and highly individualized ways!
